This standard applies to the glass mosaic produced by the melting process. It is mainly used for interior and exterior wall decoration of buildings, and can also be used as mosaic art decoration materials.

Glass mosaics come in a variety of colors. It is opaque or semi-opagulate, containing a small number of bubbles and unmelted particles.

1 Dimensions and Allowed Seats

1.1. The size and allowable tolerance of a single piece of glass mosaic shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 1.

Note: It is allowed to negotiate the production of other shapes and sizes of products according to the user and the manufacturer, but its side length shall not exceed 45mm.

1.2. The dimensions and allowable tolerances of the line, length and perimeter distance of each glass mosaic shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 2.

Note: The size of the line and joint length can be adjusted appropriately according to the negotiation between the user and the manufacturer, but the allowable tolerance remains unchanged.

2 Technical Requirements

2.1. Appearance quality

2.1.1 The appearance quality of the front of the monolithic glass mosaic shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. On the whole, a single piece of glass mosaic with the defects listed in Table 3 is not more than 5%.

Note: The missing corners of a single glass mosaic cannot exist at the same time as the edge of the block.

2.12. The back of a single piece of glass mosaic should have jagged or stepped grooves.

2.1.3. The color of each batch of glass mosaics should be basically the same.

2.2. Physical and chemical properties

The physical and chemical properties of glass mosaics should be in accordance with the provisions of Table 4.
